Job Description
The purpose of the role is to directly supervise the activities related to the mailroom, reception area, facilities maintenance vendor relationships, and the overall support of the Supply Chain Support Center (North America Headquarters).
• Supervise Employees over mailroom and receptionist duties
• Lead facilities-related activities on a daily basis with the support of the Facility Manager
• Participate in move management activities
• Procure office supplies
• Codes and approves invoices to be reviewed by Facilities Manager
• Contractor management: Plan, schedule and oversee outside contractors to ensure quality control, professionalism, minimal operational interference, and their recommended scope of work is the right solution and is cost effective.
• Help Facility manager create and manage the budget for the SCSC
• Bring in innovation to the SCSC
• Manage vendor contact relationships
• Landlord building services
• Oversee the Maintenance Tech in regards to facilities/preventative maintenance
• Develop and maintain facilities services database – Including Vendor Review involving procurement
• Equipment maintenance
• Update facility floor plans
• Supervise mailroom services staff; work scheduling, work coordination, coaching and performance evaluation
• Back up to Facilities Manager
• Project management: manage building projects, including capital improvements, asset replacements and construction
• Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, as they relate to the property, to ensure that budgets are in line with approved baselines.
Required Education and Experience
• University Degree in related field, preferred
• 5years of experience delivering services in a corporate setting, preferred
