Summary
Assists in facility management, property management, and office support operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; however, other duties may be assigned. Facility Management
Manages Building Operations and Building Automation to ensure safe, effective and efficient operations. Oversees any repairs needed. Keeps Facilities Manager informed of any major repairs and status of operations. Manages security services, outdoor maintenance and grounds keeping in coordination with Facility Manager. Assist in negotiating and administering these service contracts. Ensures all work performed on facilities is done so in accordance with Alberici safety standards and practices. Coordinates purchases of all new equipment with Facility Manager. Coordinates information requests from internal and external customers with Facility Manager. Ensures all inspections, including safety inspections, are completed and maintained for all facilities. Acts as a liaison with city, county, state and federal authorities conducting inspections of office buildings, parts or system thereof, relative to code and safety issues in conjunction with Facility Manager. Provides primary after-hour emergency response for critical systems.
Office Operations
Orders and maintains office furniture. Ensures the Company building and furnishing standards are upheld at Kienlen facilities. Processes invoices. Assists Faciltiy Manager in the management of purchases and/or leases of office supplies, services and equipment through quality approved purchase order system.
Management Responsibilities
Achieves desired results through effective leadership and appropriate influence while adhering to established policies and procedures. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
Models and reinforces safety as a top priority of the organization. Always wears a hard helmet and other appropriate personal protective equipment in the field. Meets schedules and deadlines, adheres to policies and procedures and maintains a good attendance/tardiness record. Exercises good interpersonal skills by gladly assisting others to accomplish work of the organization, even if it is outside the scope of regular duties. Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Travel to Company and subsidiary offices; offsite client, subcontractor, and supplier meetings; and other locations across North America to fulfill the essential duties of the role as required. Regular and reliable attendance in person as required by your Supervisor, Company guidelines, and/or project and office obligations.
Education and Experience
Minimum five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Practices good communication skills. Reads, analyzes and interprets documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Writes routine reports and correspondence. Effectively presents information to groups of clients, employees of organization or top management. Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Applies concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts and draws valid conclusions. Interprets an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deals with several abstract and concrete variables. Organizes and manages time, duties and activities efficiently.
