We're on the hunt for an energetic and enthusiastic Assistant F&B Manager to help us elevate our dining and event experiences to new heights. As our Assistant F&B Manager, you’ll be the conductor of dining experience and event orchestrator, ensuring every meal and event is nothing short of spectacular. With a flair for creativity and a knack for leadership, you’ll oversee operations at The Wayward and our event space, making sure everything runs smoothly and our guests leave with unforgettable memories.

Responsibilities

- Play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of The Wayward and our event space, guaranteeing top-notch service and quality.

- Lead, motivate, and mentor our amazing F&B team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

- Partner with the kitchen team to craft innovative menus that delight and impress our guests.

- Oversee event planning and execution, ensuring every detail is perfect and every event is a hit.

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance in all F&B areas.

- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to keep everything stocked and ready.

- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with a smile and a solution-oriented approach.

- Develop and implement staff training programs to keep our team sharp and service-oriented.

- Work with the F&B and Hotel Leadership team to optimize operations and enhance guest satisfaction.

- Bring your creative ideas to the table to continuously improve our offerings and services.

- Foster a fun, inclusive, and dynamic work environment where everyone feels valued.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in F&B management, with a strong background in restaurant and event operations, preferably in a hotel.

- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills that shine brightly.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- A passion for food, beverages, and delivering exceptional service.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Thrives in fast-paced environments and effortlessly juggles multiple tasks.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- A positive, can-do attitude and a love for creating memorable guest experiences.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
