This position aligns with the Experience Services Platform, which is responsible for food service programs at a defined Client real estate portfolio. The Experience Services Food Services Manager is responsible for all aspects of food services program including cafes, micro markets, conference centres, catering, office coffee & beverage service as well as vending. This role is responsible for ensuring program is delivered effectively and not only meets the client’s desired outcomes but exceeds their expectations. The Experience Services Food Services Manager will be expected to provide superior client service while enhancing their individual personal and professional skills. The role is Client facing and must be able to exhibit exceptional customer service and communication skills
Job Responsibilities
Oversee all Food Service operations and activities including Third Party Service contractorsSingle point of contact for all food service-related itemsEstablish and maintain a sound Food Services management program ensuring appropriate staffing in accordance with Client operating days.Manage catering needs for designated Client business and/or events located within select Conference CentresEnsure that all food items are transported, handled, and prepared in accordance with highest sanitation requirementsPlanning, designing, and implementing a comprehensive food-based nutrition and wellness program including awareness events, classes and demonstrations and communicationsMonitoring and management of spend and financials related to Food Services programsAnticipation and response to Client’s needs and concerns, including ensuring no safety or security incidents occurServe as the point of contact for client escalations on inquiries and issues related to the servicesEnsure procedures & audits are designed to identify and escalate risks & issuesProactively identify and escalate risks and issues (audit findings, client complaints, material vendor service issues, info security issues, any impact to the KPI’s)Pro-actively develop and manage Client relationships ensuring that expected service levels are achievedComply with all requirements of the Client contract and meet or exceed Key Performance IndicatorsProjects and practices consistent ownership attributes, which provide a high level of customer service at all points of contactEnsure the delivery of all operational requirements as per the client scope of works across siteDevelop and implement operational procedures and performance measures to ensure simplification and accuracy of work methods, reliability of systems and consistencyDrive Client specific initiatives such technology rollouts, benchmarking, best practices etcEnsure operations are aligned to financial processes and controls are always adhered to achieve good financial managementEnsure compliance with JLL and client Health, Safety, Environment and Risk Management policies and proceduresMonitors and manages 3rd party vendor performance related to Food Service program deliveryAbility to scale a food service operation both globally, regionally and locallyKnowledge, Skills & Abilitieslook into complaints about food quality and service, and see to it that such issues are resolved accordingly. Taking a proactive stance, you’ll review our operations regularly to identify opportunities forimproving service, safety and overall performance. Likewise, you’ll determine which food offerings arepopular among consumers.Keeping tab of supply and equipment inventories and maintaining records on cafeteria operations also come with the role.Managing Tuck Shops end to end from inspection of varieties, expiry dates, appropriate quantity stacking, regular intervals replacement of items as per the market trendsManagement of events is the key element of F & B. Managing indoor & outdoor events time to time.work closely with a catering vendor to identify how much and what type of food to serve.Preparation of different Menu’s as per the pulse of the employee & managing the employee feedbackYou’ll coordinate, as well, all equipment maintenance and repairs, waste removal and pest control activities. Carrying out hygiene audits both internally and through a third-party agency.Ensuring proper documentation and keeping records (sanitation, food subsidy records, etc.) up to date and consistent with government standardsSound like you? In-depth understanding of the role’s ins and outs
You’ll need significant and relevant experience in handling base kitchens. Your impeccable skills in evaluating existing processes and tweaking them when necessary will prove useful. You’ll also have solid background in formulating policies and developing new strategies and procedures.
Excellent vendor management skills and good working knowledge of important catering elements—including supplies, equipment, services ordering and inventory control—are also helpful.
Strong leadership and organizational skills

Mastery in the field
You should have earned an experience of more than 6 years in Facility Management – F & B Services (Corporate Catering) . We’ll also expect you to work as a part of a diverse team in both leadership and individual contributor expertise.
Bachelor’s Degree, or master’s degree, preferred, or equivalent combination of educationand experience.Minimum of five to ten years progressive experience in foodservice/hospitality management experienceAbility to work with clients at all levels of an organizationStrong vendor management experienceStrong background in a leadership role with exposure to contract management, customer service, people development, food services, ger etc.Exhibits strong communication, presentation and listening skills.Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.Must have strong analytical skills.Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.What we can do for you:
