We are hiring an Assistant Frames Merchant to join our growing team!

The role is responsible for promoting brand launches, maintaining shelf presence, and coordinating merchandising programs.

Job Description

What Would You Do? The Specifics.

Implements and supports all aspects of monthly frame launch programs.Coordinates 3rd party frame testing as required.Coordinates with various departments including marketing, distribution center, inventory, store support, and labs to ensure frames are distributed to stores properly and on time according to the store's planogram.Manages ongoing communications regarding frame launches to retail operations (approximately 1200+ stores).Communicates with stores regarding new products, price events, and discontinued products.Communicates with vendors to ensure on-time product deliveries and any production issues.Creates and updates frame planograms in the merchandising system (JDA) and ensures that data is downloaded correctly to the point-of-sale system (SDS).Acts as a liaison with digital marketing counterparts to ensure proper frame assortment between in-store and online.Develops brand performance reporting using Business Objects (Webi) reporting system.Analyzes the financial impact of slow-moving and discontinued frame inventory and develops and executes final disposal of remaining inventory.Maintains accurate cost and retail in merchandising system and provides SKU tags to stores when appropriate.Coordinates monthly product recalls by generating store recall paperwork, printing SKU tags, and any other documents needed for the monthly product recalls.Answers emails and phone calls from stores regarding newly launched SKUs.Works closely with IT to resolve any system issues and projects and opportunities ('Demands') for process improvements

Qualifications

Work Experience

2-4 years Consistent experience in merchandising, inventory and/or replenishment ((Required)EducationTwo years of college or equivalent experience. (Required)Four year college degree or equivalent experience. (Preferred)

Immaculate attention to detail. (Required) AndIntermediate experience with Microsoft Excel. (Required) AndExperience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. (Required) AndStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with a wide range of associates, teams, supervisors, directors, customers, and vendors. (Required) AndExperience with Supply Chain and Merchandising systems and/or POS systems. (Required) AndExperience with JDA. (Preferred) AndVendor Management Skills. (Required) AndEffectively conveys information and ideas in concise and meaningful exchanges through written and verbal communication. (Required) AndWorks independently; takes initiative and ownership of assigned tasks and completes tasks by due dates. (Required) AndHighly organized with strong follow up skills. Sound decision-making and the ability to plan and prioritize in a very fast pace environment. (Required) AndEffective problem and trouble shooting skills. (Required)
