We are currently seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Assistant General Manager for a largescale resort community to support our community management initiatives.

\n\nHow Our Employees Make an Impact:
\nThe Assistant General Manager assists the General Manager to fulfill the obligations of the management contract. The position includes some oversight and support of the various departments within the Community Association including Facilities Maintenance, Custodial, Landscaping, Concierge/Lifestyle, etc. The Assistant General Manager is the liaison to the General Manager and residents primarily, but will also occasionally interact with vendors, board members and committee members, as well as staff at the Associa Client Shared Service Center (CSSC) and within the branch office.
\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
\nCustomer Service focused. Start to finish:monthly newsletter, fitness programs and social event. Collects ID/HT from villages. Manages Ironhorse, fitness and pool staff. Covers for Ironhorse call outs and vacations..
\n\nField and respond promptly to most homeowner inquiries via phone, e-mail, work order, letter, and/or in person.\nInteract with vendors and assist with addressing emergency requestsas necessary.\nUpdate notes within homeowner accounts in C3 (Complete Control of Communities) of all conversations/correspondence with homeowner.\nAssist in preparing agendas, update management reports, and compile documents and copies for Board meeting packages.\nPrepare newsletters, flyers, and other various documents to inform homeowners of maintenance service or projects, activities, meetings, etc.\nAssist in preparing annual disclosure packages, annual meeting notifications, and annual financial statement packages for all homeowners and arrange bulk mailing of same within the time frames set by state statute or governing documents.\nAssist lead Community Manager in monitoring corporate and client delinquency rates and collections process for account portfolio.\nMaintain property files.\nOrdering office supplies\nAssist General Manager with processing new homeowner welcome packets, if applicable.\nAssist General Manager with issuing of key fobs, pool passes and processing access keys.\nAssist General Manager with requests for proposals, repair quotes, insurance notification lists.\nAssist General Manager with update of property fact sheets in C3.\nAssist General Manager in preparing homeowner CC&R violation letter and communicate results of hearings to homeowners within the time frames set by state statues or governing documents as needed.\nAssist homeowners with Associacorporate programs (website, portals, etc.) in accordance with General Manager direction, client enrollment, and local office protocol.\nParticipate in Associatraining including AssociaUniversity webinars, etc.\nOversee Gatehouse staff and responsible for staffing for gatehouse when an employee needs time off\nOversee Fitness Center staff\nWhile the list above is an extensive list of job responsibilities, it is expected that the individual in this position is hands on and flexible in performing, assisting, and/or supervising any necessary task that is requested by our client and/or the management agent i.e. other duties to be completed as assigned.\n\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
\nDirectly supervise Ironhorse attendants, fitness instructors, and gatehouse staff, including scheduling, payroll, and HR-related issues. Provides managerial guidance and direct training to team members.
\n\nCOMPENSATION:$58,700-60,000
\n\nSCHEDULE: Wednesday - Sunday 9-5
\n Requirements\nMinimum 5 years’ experience with Management and/or Supervisory responsibility\nCMCA required, other industry certifications preferred\nKnowledge of budget and finance. Must be able to interpret, understand and follow Homeowner Association CC&R’S, bylaws and contracts. Ability to apply principles, practices and objectives of recreation, administration and management.\nKnowledge of building and grounds maintenance requirements and of community association development.\nKnowledge of personnel development and administration.\nReport and motivate personnel to accomplish established goals within the related areas of responsibility.\nEstablish work standards, and to evaluate personnel performance.\nAbility to prepare and supervise the keeping of a variety of records and reports, research problems and prepare written recommendations.\nMust be proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and Outlook.\nAbility to learn new software programs as may be required.\nCommunicate effectively with others in English both orally and in writing.\nReading detailed work, maintaining confidentiality\nProblem solving, training, reasoning, written and verbal communication, customer contact, multiple concurrent tasks, working through constant interruptions\nMust be able to work extended hours or overtime, including weekends.\n\n
