Job ScopeControllers at ADM have deep technical knowledge in order to support the company's operations and Controlling function, in addition to having responsibilities for managing a team of highly technical and skilled colleagues. They are expected to develop and maintain good working relationships with business partners and deliver necessary technical and project-related support across the organization. Controllers must stay up-to-date on new regulations and/or standards which impact ADM, create and implement changes to comply with such regulations and/or standards, and be considered an expert in their field.The CARBS SOLUTIONS Operations Controller will have global responsibilities to work closely with all members of the CARBS SOLUTIONS Controlling team to drive standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.The CARBS SOLUTIONS Operations Controller will work closely with the CARBS SOLUTIONS Controller to align on key priorities for the global team and will play a significant role in the successful execution of those priorities.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership for continuous improvement in the areas of financial accounting, standardizing and simplifying processes, and internal controls working closely with others in the Controlling organization, Technical Accounting, Governance, Tax, and other key stakeholders.Serve as a central point of contact for driving process standardization across the CARBS SOLUTIONS controlling groupStandardize and maintain process for execution of strategic activities including: hiring and people planning, talent development, education and training, SOX compliance, balance sheets, financial reporting (in collaboration with ERA), inventory, policy adherence, etc.Collaborate with BU Controller to Identify and mitigate risks related to global CARBS SOLUTIONS financial results.Collaborate with other leaders to identify and implement best practices across the global team.Oversee global consolidation of financial results for CARBS SOLUTIONS, disclosures requirements, Sox controls, and other reporting for customers as requested.Drive business focused projects and initiatives for global CARBS SOLUTIONS controlling.Participate in 1ADM related activities impacting CARBS SOLUTIONS and MTM.Drive internal projects as approved to ensure standardization and simplifications of processes. Drive continuous improvement through collaboration of thought, innovative ideas, and proactive behavior.Job-Specific QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting10+ years of accounting experiencePrior supervisory experienceProficient in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and Microsoft Office SuitePrior experience in managing multiple projects at one time and strong data analyticsVisualization and communication skills (to a wide range of audiences both technical and non-technical) is requiredStrong functional understanding of ADM’s operating structure desiredExperience with Power BI and large ERP systems (e.g. JDE, SAP, etc) a plusExcited about this role but don’t meet every requirement listed?
