Bi-weekly reviews and lists will be sent to management starting 13 NOVEMBER 2024; additional lists may be sent at management request.** Responsibilities Works under the direct supervision and training of the Golf Course Superintendent in the maintenance, repair and improvement of the condition of the entire playing area of the golf course. Duties include, but are not limited to, direction and supervision of subordinate employees in all phases of course maintenance; mowing, watering, fertilizing and maintaining tees, fairways, greens and roughs and all peripheral areas. Performs administrative duties related to the maintenance of the golf course and equipment used on the course. This includes ordering and receiving parts, equipment and materials for the course and equipment maintenance section. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must have extensive work experience that demonstrated the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform work in all phases of golf course maintenance to include one (1) year experience equivalent to the next lower level. Must have experience in irrigation system repair, modification and usage. Must have a working knowledge of the chemicals and equipment used to control fungi, insects, and weeds on the golf course. Must be certified, or certifiable as pesticide applicator by the Department of Defense, in the categories required for the use of the golf course. **You will be rated based solely off of the information provided within your resume, so the information provided on your resume should be clear and specific. Assumptions will not be made regarding your experience and the duties performed.** HIGHLY PREFERRED: One (1) year work experience in a payroll system. One (1) year experience with athletic turf equipment. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
