Qualified candidates will have previous experience as an Assistant Golf Professional, thrive in a hospitality environment, and be highly focused on providing superior customer service.

The Assistant Golf Professional is a key member of the golf operations team and will assist the Head Golf Professional in managing all aspects of the golf operation.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

2-3 years golf industry experience preferred College degree (PGM) preferred PGA Member or Apprentice Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Highly polished interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people easily and quickly Must possess basic computer skills

Position Responsibilities:

Maintain professional appearance at all times
  Assist the Head Golf Professional in the daily management of all golf operations, including member / guest events and tournaments Provide outstanding customer service to all members and guest, ensuring a welcoming, friendly and professional environment.

 

Assist the Head Golf Professional in the purchase of operating supplies, golf merchandise and promotional items.  Promote and manage the clubs golf instruction program  Assist in coordinating of individual, group, and tournament play as directed by the Head Golf Professional
  Produce daily reports related to rounds, sales, etc. for management
  Works closely with Marshall and Starter to monitor all aspects of play including starting, monitoring pace of play, safety on the course and golf course markings
  Assists in reconciliation of daily business Promote the game of golf for all members and guest
  Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
