In line with our growth strategy for 2025, AtkinsRéalis, in the UK & Europe, have an opportunity for an Assistant / Consultant Level Health & Safety Consultant within our London office. The opportunity will be supporting our successful London based Health and Safety consultant Team whilst developing your own career as a Health and Safety consultant in the construction industry.
Your Purpose:
Experience and knowledge of applying the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 and general Health and Safety legislation and guidance.Demonstratable knowledge of safety in design.Experience of delivering Principal Designer and CDM Advisor services.Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Sound understanding of the main Microsoft Office packages.Ability to prepare / present emails and documents, demonstrating a good understanding of the written and spoken English language.Competent report writing.Flexible to travel across AtkinsRéalis client locations.A valid driving license is essential and a car.What you can bring:
CDM Advisor services on a range of different sized projects. Providing CDM and PD Advisory services to clients on a range of different sized projects.General health and safety consultancy services to clients. Health and safety support as part of bids, including supporting writing bid documents.Supporting colleagues with health and safety expertise where required. Developing existing and new clients as part of our ‘win work’ strategy.Applying the principles of quality assurance and environmental management in compliance with the organisation's policies.Possess a NEBOSH National / Construction Certificate. A member of APS, or working towards.A Technician / Graduate level member of IOSH or IIRSM equivalent with a desire to work towards Chartered Status.A relevant design or construction related qualification (preferred but not essential).Why work for AtkinsRéalis?
