The Assistant Interior Designer/Space Planner will assist with preparing designs, editing specifications, and preparing conceptual estimates for interior work, repair, and/or renovation of government, airport, and commercial related facilities.

Assists in preparation of designs, quantity calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings for interiors of aviation and/or federal facilities.Performs interior design assignments to meet project deliverables.Assists in compiling data, provides elementary design computations, assist with preparation of internal design plans and renderings.Assists with furniture purchasing and reconfiguration.Assists in researching interior design products to make recommendations to the manager.Assists with color, finish, and material research and selection.Assists with recommending new ideas, formulas and methods.Assists in construction administration activities through site visits and review of payment applications.Assists with maintaining conformance with building standards, established architectural practices, and applicable building codes.Performs other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standards
