Assistant/Jr Property Manager (CAM Licensed)

Job Overview:

  The Junior Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of multiple departments, delivering
exceptional resident experience, and fostering a well-managed, cohesive community. This role encompasses
leadership in resident relations, operational oversight, and staff development. Key responsibilities include
developing and implementing onboarding materials, maintaining effective resident engagement programs, and
conducting property inspections to drive maintenance and amenity enhancements.

 

The Junior Manager oversees the Receiving, Amenities, and Operations Departments, ensuring efficient
workflows, adherence to established protocols, and the delivery of high service standards. This includes
managing the employee life cycle, from training and performance improvement plans to counseling and
terminations, with a strong focus on staff development, coaching, and hospitality training.

 

The Junior Manager also leads the planning and scheduling of wellness and social programs, collects and
analyzes resident feedback through surveys, and ensures seamless communication across all departments,
including events, compliance, and resident services. Collaboration with the administrative team is key to fostering
community engagement through strategic events and initiatives.

 

With a commitment to operational excellence and resident satisfaction, the Junior Manager plays a vital role in
creating a high-quality living environment while aligning and enhancing the performance of diverse teams and
departments.

 

 

Skills & Qualifications:

Two (2) years of experience as an on-site manager managing the property or building operations, such as staff and service contracts, preferred. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field Certified and Licensed by the State of Florida for Community Association Management (CAM)  Strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, leases, regulations or documents with a similar degree of complexity. Strong interpersonal skills. Computer literacy: Proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.

Develops, prepares, and distributes materials for resident orientations to ensure a seamless onboarding
experience.
Maintains a robust resident relations program, fostering positive communication and engagement with residents
on a regular basis.
 Conducts daily property inspections and initiates work orders for maintenance and improvements in amenity
areas.
 Oversees the Receiving Department, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to established protocols.
Manages the Amenities Department, including employee training, interviewing, counseling, addressing staff
concerns, implementing programs such as the Google review initiative, and terminating employees when
necessary. This includes developing improvement plans and fostering staff development.
 Manages the Operations Department, including employee training, interviewing, counseling, addressing staff
concerns, and implementing reviews of key areas such as the parking garage, bicycle rooms, motorcycle rooms,
and paddleboard rooms.
 Coordinates and assists with scheduling amenity and wellness programs to enhance resident satisfaction.
 Designs, conducts, and analyzes resident surveys to gather feedback and improve community services.
 Provides consistent hospitality training for employees to maintain high service standards, with a strong focus on
professional development and coaching.
 Ensures high-level communication and collaboration with all departments, including events, compliance,
resident information, and rules enforcement, to promote alignment and operational efficiency.
 Collaborates with the administrative assistant to plan and oversee social events that enrich the resident
community experience.
 Plans, coordinates, and oversees social events to enhance community engagement.
 Prepares bi-weekly employee schedules.
 Undertakes the review and follow-up of violation and incident reports submitted by each department.

 

 

Physical Requirements:

Physical demands include ability to lift up to 50lbs. Standing, sitting, walking and occasional climbing. Required to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time. Talking on the phone for extended periods of time. Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms. On-call 24/7. Ability to work extended/flexible hours and weekends based on project requirements. Driving when necessary. Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.

 

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm

Compensation: $65,000 annual
