Toll Brothers, America's leading luxury home builder, seeks a Assistant Land Development Estimator to join our team at our Corporate office located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

 

What is the opportunity?

 

The Assistant Land Development Estimator is responsible for Earthwork calculations and reports.  In addition, this role includes generating quantity takeoffs and prep work for cost estimates.  Work closely with our Estimating staff to learn and develop the skills required to be a successful Estimator.

 

What are the primary responsibilities?

EarthworkGenerate balance between existing surface and design surface using Agtek software.Produce volume calculations and Cut/ Fill Maps.Review and Interpret balance for reporting. EstimatingCalculate Volume, Area and Length from Site Improvement Plans.Produce Estimates by applying prices to quantity takeoff calculations.Peer review with colleagues for detail and accuracy.Review Cost Estimates with Land Development Management.

Do you have these qualifications?

Essential:Familiarity with residential subdivisionsWillingness to learn and contribute in a team environment.Proficient math and computer skills.Ability to review and understand a set of construction plans.Basic understanding of site grading, storm drainage, sanitary, water, and roadway construction.Collaborate with Land Development Field Managers.

 

Preferred:Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Land Planning, or related field.One to Three (1-3) years of experience in residential construction.Experience with Agtek 3D modeling software.Experience working with AutoCAD.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
