Assistant Lounge Manager - Vanderpump (Caesars Palace LV)

JOBSUMMARY:
The Assistant Lounge Manager will act as the Assistant General Manager of Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, in conjunction with his/her co-workers, oversee operations in Caesars Palace Lounges in particular the Vanderpump Cocktail Garden with a focus on revenue growth, menu development, food and beverage quality, presentation and steps of service.

 

ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS:

Must be willing and able to appear on television or to be filmed while performing day to day job functions Must be able to interact with high profile guests and celebrities while maintaining a professional demeanor Greets and welcomes all guests in a pleasant and professional manner. Bea brand advocate by providing Guests with accurate information regarding our venues, menus and pricing Candidate will assist the General Manager or Lounge Manager and Director of Restaurants/Beverage with developing menus for lounges with an emphasis on new, innovative cocktails and fresh, quality ingredients, while staying within the parameters set by National Beverage Program and budgeted pour costs. Candidate must be comfortable with being on television, interacting with celebrities Candidate will continually train all staff on new menus to ensure knowledge is retained so team members can accurately spiel the menu. Candidate will conduct weekly quality checks for Bartender and Cocktail servers on menu product knowledge, execution of cocktails and steps of service. Demonstrates hands on approach and designs an efficient and classy, Caesars Palace beverage profile (sophisticated steps of service, elevated beverage offerings and Steps of Service. Effectively rolls out new beverage service standards and provide adequate training and roleplay opportunities for employees to get all relevant training to succeed under the new standard of work. Create a compliance culture within the organization and foster an environment where employees feel comfortable reporting potential violations or misconduct. Will conduct shift calls daily to ensure proper staffing.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:   Candidate requires prior beverage experience working in a bar, lounge or nightclub. Candidate requires prior dining experience working in a upscale restaurant pertaining to a higher level of steps of service. Must have knowledge of beverages, glassware, and garnishes. Candidate requires a minimum of 3 years of Beverage or Restaurant Supervisory experience Candidate requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner. Must present a neat and professional appearance. Candidate requires interactions with customers, public and co-workers. Candidate requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.  

PHYSICAL,MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:  

Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant interaction with staff and public. Shifts may vary based on business needs. Must be able to handle intoxicated guests in a professional manner. Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.
