You'll be responsible for balancing multiple priorities, adapting to evolving circumstances, and communicating effectively with team members, clients, supervisors, and external partners to ensure seamless facility operations and top-notch maintenance services. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Leadership and Direction:** Lead and direct up to 16 maintenance technicians + **Performance Management:** Ensures that Maintenance department objectives and key metrics are met. + **Customer Relations:** Act as a Liaison to Account Manager, Planners, Customers, and Department. + **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensures compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures. + **Morning Briefings** : Lead morning briefings and prioritizing work orders. + **Shift Change Meetings** : Communicate information and responsibilities between teams, and help everyone understand what to expect during their shift. + **Facility Walkthroughs:** Conduct facility inspections to identify maintenance issues. + **Safety Compliance:** Ensure safety compliance and conducting audits. + **Data Analysis:** Analyze maintenance data for improvement opportunities. + **Team Development:** Supervise and develop the maintenance team + **Team Building:** Facilitate team building activities to enhance collaboration and communication within the department + **Project Management:** Manage multiple projects and requests simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and deliver positive outcomes **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management or related field (preferred) or transferrable management experience (3 years minimum; 5 years preferred). + 3+ years in a leadership role, overseeing maintenance teams and programs. + Strong leadership, safety commitment, and effective communication. + Working knowledge of repairs and preventive / predictive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment. Repairs and preventive / predictive maintenance to be performed in conformance with established standards. + Work schedule flexibility to accommodate client needs and availability to provide 24/7 on call support. + Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, with the ability to create and manage documents effectively. + Proficiency with a Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS) + Must have working knowledge of the following: proper use of basic/power tools, shop math, pneumatics, power transmissions, parts nomenclature, measurements and fasteners. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Expertise with Conveyor Systems strongly preferred + Have or possess capability to obtain CMRP / ICML MLT 1 **Physical Demands:** + Must have ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, use an aerial lift, and frequently lift a maximum of 50 lbs. of equipment. + Ability to perform tasks wearing appropriate or required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include but is not limited to hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes. + Regularly required to crouch or bend and reach to install/move equipment. + Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work, averaging 6 to 12 miles per day. + Work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures. **Why C&W Services?** We're a global company with over 400 offices in 60 countries.
