We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team at a prestigious high-rise residential property. The ideal candidate will support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing all maintenance operations to ensure the property is in pristine condition and residents experience top-tier service.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\nAssist the Maintenance Manager in planning, scheduling, and supervising all maintenance activities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building upkeep.\nEnsure the timely completion of all work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and property inspections.\nOversee and support the maintenance team, providing training and guidance as needed to maintain high performance standards.\nRespond promptly to resident requests and emergencies, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.\nMonitor building systems, equipment, and supplies to ensure they are functioning properly and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.\nCoordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services while ensuring quality control and adherence to property standards.\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs, reports, and inventory.\nEnsure compliance with all safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company policies.\nAct as the Maintenance Manager in their absence, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any escalated issues.\n\nQualifications:
\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred.\nMinimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.\nStrong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.\nExperience in high-rise or residential property management is highly desirable.\nProven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational excellence.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.\nStrong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.\nProficiency in using maintenance management software and basic computer skills.\nAvailability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call shifts as needed.\nBilingual English and Spanish.\n\nPhysical Requirements:
\n\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.\nCapability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and perform tasks in various environmental conditions.\nDexterity to use hand tools and operate maintenance equipment safely.\n\nWhat We Offer:
