A prominent player in Offshore Energy Solutions, renowned for its cutting-edge floating production systems and services tailored for the Oil and Gas sector, as an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor. This key position will focus on overseeing the operation and maintenance of Engine Room equipment and the Process utility systems managed from the Engine Room. The role is located in Equatorial Guinea.
Mission: The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor will exhibit good, supervisory and safety behaviours and will specifically ensure that all aspects of Engine Room operation and maintenance are carried out safely, through careful delegation and control of responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities: Prepare Engine Room and Utility Systems for start-up. Start and Monitor Engine Room and Utility Systems. Prepare and Shutdown Engine Room and Utility Systems. Isolate and reinstate the Engine Room and Utility Systems for Maintenance. Contribute to control of critical situations and respond to emergencies. Manage and supervise effectively. Monitor and Maintain Pollution Control Measures. Carry out Emergency Response Role. Provide any additional duties as required by the OIM/Unit Spt and /or HOD to maintain safe and efficient running of the Unit.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements: Accredited Degree / Diploma in a relevant Engineering/Technical Discipline A minimum of 5 years’ experience with at least 1-year experience as Watchkeeping Marine Engineer (steam turbine watch keeping experience preferable). Qualified to EOOW STCW Reg AIII/1 VLCC experience preferred. Medically fit to Offshore International standards such as ENG1 or equivalent. Valid BOSIET and Offshore Certificates (Non-Negotiable).
