Assistant Manager, Category Management - The Mobile Shop

*Our hybrid model requires this role to be in office 4 days a week with flexible working hours at our Bathurst/Lakeshore location.*

The Assistant Category Manager is accountable for maintaining and executing the promotional calendar for The Mobile Shop. They will assess performance of offers and other initiatives and make recommendations for future activities. They are also responsible for staying on top of industry trends and ensuring  pricing and offers are competitive. This role works cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communications, leverage expertise and gain efficiencies.

What You'll Do:

Aid in planning and execution of TMS initiativesEnsure offers are properly executed and digital/website showcases appropriate pricing, products and servicesMaintain quarterly Promotional calendar to keep offers fresh for customersWork cross functionally with internal and external partners to execute campaignsSupport data for preparation of MBRs/QBRs and other ad hoc business presentationsAnalyze daily, weekly and monthly sales performance and provide insightsPerform regular pricing reviews and research on industry performance, trends, products, services and opportunitiesWork with team to execute TMS chatbot content enhancementsAudits to ensure overall store and customer experience is to Loblaw standardsRegular Store visits

What You Bring:

3-5 years of relevant work experience in Operations, Business or StrategyUniversity degree in Business, Commerce or an equivalent degree in a field of study related to the jobDemonstrated experience in planning and implementing process and promotional strategiesExperience with data-driven sales approachesExcellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to present and collaborate across all levels and cross-functionalityOutstanding time management and organizational skillsStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsCreative and continuous improvement mentalityExcellent problem-solving skills to tactfully deal with customer feedback and demonstrated ability to work out resolutions
