JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Provide support to staff in the form of curriculum education and building a foundation for staff to use with clients and families. Provide ongoing support and direction in order to develop skills to improve performance and competence of staff. Assist program manager with public relations and coordination of program services. Assist with general program needs for supervision, growth, education, and oversight. Works with local manager to meet needs of program goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisory responsibilities may include supervising family support specialists, care coordinators, DCS liaison, and other positions that are degree equivalent.Educating staff on specifics of their hired role and job expectationsAssisting staff through process of family engagementEducating staff on the interdisciplinary components of mental healthTeach staff on appropriate life skill development and case management servicesEducating staff on utilization of EMR and development of person-centered care plansProvide on-going guidance to staff to help develop and implement job skillsOrganizing, structuring, and collaborating with staff to provide activities for clients and familiesDevelop and maintain resource room and curriculum filesWorking with manager to support community relationships and assist with attending at community functions as necessary.Assist with developing programming/oversightRegular and reliable attendance is required.Ensures, along with Manager, that Team has the tools to meet or exceed budget goals; including that staff meet billable hour standard goals and that all grants and contracts are successfully executedEnsures that Team completes clinical documentation within two business days of service provided.Ensures that Team completes CANS assessments/reassessments, treatment plans and other clinical service authorizations in a timely manner.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required; Master’s degree preferred; preferably in psychology, social work, education, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted for education upon approval.
Years of Experience
Experience working and/or volunteering within the behavioral health, criminal justice, or social services field can be considered in place of degree.
