Purpose
The Assistant Manager contributes to the success of the Middle Office by achieving individual goals and supporting team strategies. Ensure compliance with regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
Perform operational duties including trade life cycle management, trade control, and client service tasks. Support GBM business lines with the complete life cycle of a transaction from inception to termination, including settlements along the way. The trade support will span several specific functions from settlement and confirmation support, compression activities, trade novation, corrections and problem resolution. Deliver high-quality output and support the Manager in daily activities and projects. Guide junior team members and assist in performance management. Operate independently, resolve issues with minimal oversight, and work within tight deadlines. Foster a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and ensure seamless, compliant service. Ensuring clear, timely and accurate communication to internal and external clients as well as cross-departmental collaboration to ensure customer needs are met in a seamless and compliant manner. Drive continuous operational improvement by resolving complex problems and creating measurable efficiencies. Ensure effective operations and adherence to risk management frameworks and regulatory compliance.
