Reports to: Director FLSA: Exempt ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Supervise and coordinate afternoon OR staff Coordinates changes to the OR schedule with the anesthesia team and surgeons. Communicates with the PAR and PACU nursing staff to facilitate improved throughput of patients Completes patient and family rounding and service recovery as needed Make adjustments to staffing as needed to account for add on or cancelled cases Provide patient care as needed to facilitate surgical needs of patients. Minimum Qualifications:* Minimum Education Associate’s degree in Nursing Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)* *Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
