JOB AD BUSINESS TITLE: Assistant Manager, Pricing & Costing (Timberland & Packs, APAC)

LOCATION: Shanghai

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

Drives margin improvement across our brands by partnering with Product Merchandising, Brand Management, Brand Finance, and Supply Chain throughout the Pricing and Costing Process. This includes providing financial support during the preliminary line reviews and analyzing price and cost information at three main points (“Margin Review Meetings”): line close, before wholesale sales meetings, and after actual orders receipt from the customer. Provides summaries of these touchpoints to Executive Management for each brand and each season, and periodic dashboards and reports on our margin trending.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Assist Executive Leadership and Brand Management in driving margin improvement within our BrandsAnalyze price, volume, and cost to determine financial impact and margin performanceProvide the Analytics & Reports that will support the Brand Margin Review Meetings with Executive Leadership, Brand Management, Product Merchandising, and OperationsUnderstand foreign exchange and commodity trends to ensure pricing strategy and margin is maintainedTeam with Sourcing to understand product cost assumptions that feed into the financial plan and support business decisionsPricing scenario modeling and performing “what-if” analysisBringing to life the business narratives behind the underlying financial dataPartner with Global Pricing and Costing teams drive for data consistency and transparency
