Job Overview Position involves the responsibility of monitoring & development of advanced optimization model and data visualization tools. Identify, analyze and implement opportunities in end to end supply chain with focus in the areas of manufacturing network design and optimization, capacity planning and restructuring. Function Overview The GIC Supply Chain team manages end-to-end operations, encompassing planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and analytics. They strategically plan to meet market demands, optimize sourcing, ensure efficient production, and oversee the seamless movement of goods from production to delivery. The team employs advanced analytics throughout these processes, fostering adaptability and operational excellence. This collaborative approach ensures a well-coordinated supply chain that aligns with both organizational goals and dynamic market conditions. Link Purpose of the role SC Reporting and Analytics group is responsible for development of the reports, tools & dashboards which support and aid in decision making process in Supply Chain. This team provides exposure to Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Deployment, Transportation, Inbound Logistics and Sourcing function.This team works directly with Supply Chain, Business teams and IT for developing solutions which aid decision making and drive business value. This team drives step-change innovation and improvements in business practices by delivering actionable insights through advanced analytics and Supply chain expertise. This role is responsible for development of business intelligence (BI) capabilities in at least one supply chain pillar. The incumbent will deploy business intelligence capabilities across pillar / segment based on Google Data Cloud and visualization and capability scaling. What percentage of time is spent managing others? 30-40% Direct Reports - 4 to 5 Job Responsibilities 30% Strategic Responsibilities Work closely with stakeholders Bring new innovation and enhance existing capabilities. Manage external vendor support activities Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives 50% Operational Responsibilities Manage & lead the capacity analytics team in India while working closely with business teams in India and US Support stakeholders by answering different “What If” business questions related to capacity planning Delivering projects on time while managing scope boundaries Assigning Projects and balancing work load Conduct sanity checks on data analysis and understand driving factors Convert data results analysis in business insights Prepare presentations for business meeting 20% People Responsibilities Work closely with HR for hiring, leveling & attrition management Mentor the team in career planning & progression Responsible for identifying development needs and plans for individuals Responsible for performance evaluation and day to day administrative activities of direct reporting team Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed Demonstrated Model building skills in software’s like Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru, Spotfire, MS Excel, , Premium Solver, Simulation tools Demonstrated skills in Capacity Planning, complex manufacturing scenarios Experience in dealing with large data sets and tools like MS Excel, MS Power point, Python, SQL Strong analytical and business acumen skills Has Lead a technical team Expertise in development and assessment of complex manufacturing network Competencies/Behaviors required for job Interpersonal Effectiveness Broad perspective/Business Acumen Leads Innovation Energize & Develop People Preferred Education Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters Preferred Major Area of Study: Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Preferred Professional Certifications: APICS, CSCMP Experience Minimum years of related experience required: 4 Preferred years of related experience: 5
