Assistant Manager
 

Summary 

 

The Assistant Manager at Copper Creek Apartments (204 units) is responsible for supporting the Resident Manager and acting as their representative in their absence. This position requires high attention to detail, good judgement, and excellent customer service skills. 

 

The Assistant Manager is expected to maintain BRIDGE Housing Property Management’s high standards of professionalism and service to provide residents with a safe, well-managed living environment and meet the company’s goals. 

 

Responsibilities 

 

Administrative tasks such as copying, filing, scheduling, distributing mail, and answering phonesIn absence of manager, act as primary resident liaison and coordinate service requestsAdvertise vacancies and interview potential residents Coordinate resident activitiesCollect rent and serve late notices as neededSchedule and complete applicant certifications and resident re-certificationsMaintain computer databasesPrepare weekly and monthly compliance reportsMaintain resident, maintenance, and vendor filing systemsKeep inventory of office and maintenance suppliesSupervise maintenance and office staff as neededSupervise work of contractors and vendorsProvide excellent customer service to residents and vendorsAttend annual trainings and comply with the Fair Housing ActPerform maintenance and janitorial tasks as neededWork with onsite team and local service organizations to provide appropriate resident servicesOther projects as assigned

Qualifications  

Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong computer skills including MS Word, Outlook and Excel; Yardi a plusExcellent organizational skills, attention to detail and follow throughAble to work independently, prioritize, meet multiple deadlines and work as a team memberExperience in low income or affordable housing property management preferredBilingual preferred
