Assistant Manager
Lead and manage the smelting operations in compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) systems Develop and execute strategies to optimize smelting processes for maximum efficiency and output Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of smelting operations with upstream and downstream processes Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards Provide technical guidance and support to the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development Drive initiatives for cost optimization, waste reduction, and energy efficiency within the smelting operations Participate in the selection and evaluation of technology and equipment for smelting and FGD processes Prepare and analyze operational reports, KPIs, and performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to enhance overall efficiency Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to proactively address challenges and capitalize on opportunities 7-12 years of experience in the Copper Business industry Proven track record of leadership and management in a smelting environment Demonstrated experience in Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) process Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
