Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Social Media Listening
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Social Listening Specialist with good years of experience. The ideal candidate will monitor online conversations related to the client and its business segments, analyze business, industry and best-in-class social media trends, and develop insights to inform marketing strategies, communications, business strategies, risk planning, and executive intellectual capital.
Responsibilities
Monitoring Conversations: Track and analyze social media platforms to identify brand mentions, relevant keywords, industry trends, and the economic environment.
Sentiment Analysis: Evaluate the sentiment behind social media mentions to understand public perception and sentiment related to brand and industry.
Data Collection: Gather data from various social media channels, forums, blogs, and other online platforms to compile a comprehensive overview of online discussions related to brand and industry.
Competitor Analysis: Keep tabs on competitors' social media activities and analyze their strategies to gain insights to help inform client's social strategy.
Reporting and Insights: Generate regular reports highlighting key findings, trends, and actionable insights to guide marketing, communication, and risk strategies.
Crisis Management: Identify potential PR crises by monitoring online conversations and alert relevant teams within brand so they can address issues promptly.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, communications, risk, customer service, and key leaders to share insights and integrate social listening findings into business strategies.
Tool Proficiency: Proficient in working with social listening tools such as Brandwatch, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr or similar platforms.
Tool Utilization: Utilize social listening tools and analytics platforms effectively to streamline data collection and analysis processes.
Keyword Optimization: Optimize social listening queries and keywords to ensure accurate and relevant data collection.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, social media platform updates, and changes in online behavior to adapt strategies accordingly.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• B.E MBA, MBA, BCA, MCA, BSc/MSc
• Good knowledge of Banking Finance
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Expertise on Office tools - Excel, PPT, Word
Strong analytical, data-driven skills and experience with social media analytics tools such as Brandwatch, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr or similar platforms
Knowledge on Banking, Retail and FMCG/CPG industry, exposure to CPG/Consumer data
Good communication skills and ability to present data as a compelling and easily consumable story
Should have ability to handle large data sets in arriving at meaningful findings
Flexibility to work critical projects with strict deadlines
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills
Analytical abilities and in-depth knowledge of social media insights
Strong relationship-building skills with ability to collaborate effectively across broad
stakeholder groups
