Inviting applications for position ofAssistant Manager, Data Governance-Regulatory reporting

As a Data Governance Manager, you will be responsible for assessing data usages to capture important data elements within Operational Risk, including understanding and documenting end-to-end data flows and system processes and identifying potential data risks and issues and assessing them to identify opportunities to enhance processes and controls. You will also play a key role in driving strategic initiatives within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Identifying data elements important to management of non-financial risk

Metadata assessment and definition

Data Lineage Mapping to understand end-to-end data flows

Data Risk and Control Assessments

Data Profiling and identification of data quality rules

Data Governance Advisory, including best practice and implementation support

Contributing to and implementing recommendations for strategic initiatives

Establishing and maintaining ongoing data governance and data management activities

To be successful in this role, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment with highly talented individuals. You will have strong numerical and analytics skills, coupled with strong stakeholder management skills as you will be working closely with others to identify and manage data risk. You will also have experience working in a data governance role, ideally within the financial services industry.

Qualifications we seek in You

Minimum Qualifications

years data management experience

Strong business analysis skills, with high attention to detail

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to engage with a broad range of data, risk and business stakeholders

Previous experience working in a data governance or data management role

Exposure to Data Management tooling – e.g. Collibra, Informatica IDQ (nice to have)

Previous experience working in the financial services industry

Good interpersonal skills
