WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS AN ASSISTANT MANAGER - Bookkeeper Support our properties and teams in a critical way by representing us to residents, employees, and agency partners. Assist in leading day-to-day property operations and ensure financial targets and compliance standards are met. Collect rents and oversee building staff as manager-on-duty Process resident financial information through the RealPage OneSite system Maintain accurate records while making a difference in your community. Ensure your property’s ledgers are always audit ready and financially sound. Set up, maintain, and process all property invoices while maintaining financial record through various platforms. Maintain accounts payable and forward properly coded invoices to Community Manager. Process and submit monthly HAP voucher for section 8 programs, including monthly interim recertification and gross rent charges. Qualifications You have at least 1 year of property management experience with knowledge of HUD Section 8, LIHTC, and/or other affordable housing programs as well as 2 years bookkeeping experience in a fast-paced environment.
