Assistant Manager Construction
Job ResponsibilitiesThis individual will have the ability to assist in leading an install team during all phases of the site build. These phases will include: Hiring of new staff, installation of the turf, installation of the Topgolf target interiors, installation of the game bays (hitting mats, ball dispensers, game panels, club holders, and bag racks), and the maintenance area.During the install, the Install Assistant Manager supports the Install Manager in working with and giving on-the-job training to the new team of associates.The Install Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting in the training of the new FM and their acclimation to the Topgolf gaming system.The Install Assistant Manager will have to work closely and coordinate with the Topgolf Procurement and Construction teams as well as the general contractor's PM, superintendents, and many of the various subcontractor trades.Coordination and timing of the project is ultimately dependent upon the Install Manager, but the Install Assistant Manager has the responsibility to help towards whatever end the Manager directs.In the Install Manager’s absence, and after a successful training and vetting period, the Install Assistant Manager may be tasked with the following: Issuing daily job assignments for the team, supervising the execution of those assignments, and giving guidance as necessary.Overseeing the delivery to and receipt of the materials, equipment, and resources for the site build.Training of the maintenance staff in normal day-to-day site operations for an open site. Critical Skills & Experience Requirements1+ years in the Turf industry or turf installation experience (Preferred)1+ years of experience in construction or related industry (Preferred)Member of the Topgolf Facilities team at an existing venue (Required)2+ years of experience in the Turf industry or turf installation experience (Preferred)Turf Installation: glueing seams, coordinating layout, cutting and terminating (Required)Equipment Operation: Forklift, Skid Steer, Laymor Brush, Double Drum Roller (Required)Topgolf specific gaming system: RFID, PLC’s, Netting installation, Gamebay and Target technology (Required)
