Purpose and Relevance for the organization:

 

Your task as an Assistant Manager Demand Planning DTC is to support the creation of the Retail and Ecom Demand Plan for the sales area Europe. The Demand Plan is the basis for Purchasing and significantly influences the inventory management/stock turn and re-order availability. Therefore, it is also the foundation for reaching sales and inventory targets.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Responsible to support the creation and update of the Rolling Demand Plan (RDP) for defined business segments on article level for Ecom and Retail in line with the Integrated Business Plan Actively manage the DTC planning book, create the best possible DP along the season including constrain supply situations. Create and submit the optimal size curve and monthly phasing for the Demand Plan Analyze and secure meaningful input for your respective category of RDP and IBP targets, which aligned to the strategic planning/Intake ratio agreements. Analyze business/category development of Wholesale and AKA to discuss opportunities and risks to the DTC Merchandising organization Continuous improvements of DTC Demand Planning processes and work close together with the DTC Demand Planning Team, to ensure that projects and initiatives are delivered successfully. Support the creation of reports and analysis for the DTC IBP process to secure a quality submission.

Educational Background/Minimum Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s degree First work experience in demand planning or a similar field preferably in the sporting goods industry
