THE JOB:

Provide direction and leadership for the Environmental Services (EVS) department, consistent with the MGM Resorts brand.  Responsible for leading the EVS leadership team in achieving operational and financial goals including managing labor and overall financial performance. Owns the execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of the EVS department. Ensure high customer satisfaction and an exceptional guest experience, in accordance with MGM Resorts service standards.

 

THE STARTING RATE:
The compensation for this role is $70,000 annually

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Provide Great Customer Service - Always be professional, friendly, and approachable to guests and team members.Manage Daily Operations - Take charge of what happens during your shift, making sure everything runs smoothly.Keep Things Clean and Presentable - Regularly check public areas, offices, back rooms, and the casino to ensure everything is spotless and up to standards.Handle Scheduling and Staffing - Know how to create effective schedules and manage staff hours efficiently to meet operational needs.Stay Organized Under Pressure - Keep things on track even when it's busy or stressful, while paying attention to small details.Lead and Support Your Team - Train and guide your team, provide constructive feedback, and be a strong, motivating leader

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Highschool Diploma, GED or equivalent2 years of experience of prior relevant experience in EVS, Housekeeping or Cleaning services1 year in a Supervisory roleAbility to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidaysStrong teamwork and communication skills.Able to plan and coordinate work with vendors, contractors, and other internal departments.Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills

Pay Range:

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum - Maximum

$47,165.76 - $75,465.01

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
