ASSISTANT MANAGER EXCESS INVENTORY (M/F/D) (TEMP TILL 31.12.2026)
Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Your task as an Excess Inventor Assistant Manager / Data analyst is to create, develop and maintain dashboards/reports and support the active management of excess stock levels across all sales channels and stock destinations in Europe.
The Excess stock management process ensures a healthy inventory level of outdated products and supports Europe´s net-sales and contribution target.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible to support the Excess Inventory Management team in creating regular analysis of inventory development and excess stock levels to ensure proper database for inventory control process and actions.
Actively analyse and evaluate the inventory development of current and past seasons and provide regular qualitative feedback on latest trends and developments
Create and maintain analysis and reporting tools that support easy and fast visualization of data using Power BI
Operationalize and automate activities for efficient and timely production of data visuals (Alteryx, SQL, databricks, Excel, PowerBI) and enable better and faster decision making
Create professional and easy to read dashboards to be able to present relevant information to all levels of management and take meaningful decisions.
Develop and propose initiatives to reduce excess inventories levels,
considering qualitative and financial aspects
Prepare and execute stock transfers following defined timelines and report results Liaise with departments relevant for the excess inventory process such as Brand Business Units, Factory Outlet, Finance and Market Sales Unit
Regularly retrieve data out of SAP, Business intelligence (Micro Strategy), Databricks, SQL, Power BI and Alteryx data flow Proactively/ independently carry out special projects and assignments
Project based
Work with Europe Demand planning analytics team to enhance reporting capabilities (Data Analyst journey focused on Databricks/Lakehouse, Business Intelligence journey focused on PowerBI dashboards) Manage the transition from legacy system to new system in terms of testing, reporting and analytics

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good knowledge of MS Office, SQL/Databricks Expert knowledge of Excel, SAP/AFS, SAP/BI, Power BI, Power Query Fluency in English (written and verbal)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Business Administration with a focus on marketing/sales/finance (or equivalent qualification) Minimum 2 years of work experience in cross-functional position, ideally with sales/marketing/finance background
