Assistant Manager Front Services & Valet (Overnight) - The Cosmopolitan

JOIN THE SHOW: The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is on the lookout for an accomplished Assistant Manager to steer and inspire our Front Services, Valet and Bell team. We are seeking the ideal candidate who can lead the team towards achieving excellence in five-star service.

THE JOB:

Your primary focus will be on maintaining high customer satisfaction and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Establish and maintain departmental rules and procedures for all Bell and door and Valet Parking staffManage all personnel functions including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, termination, payroll and recruitmentOversee departmental operations, maintain high level of service expected by Hotel Management, implement and maintain training of new personnel and developmental training of all staffDirect and motivate all Bell and Door and Valet Parking staffEnsure high productivity of all employees developing effective scheduling and staffing levelsPromote and maintain positive service standardsMaintain supply inventory levelsAssist Risk Management in investigating accidents and handling guest problems up to but not including those that require involvement of Risk Management or senior managementComputer knowledge and skills, including the Hotel system ​

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:

Either a high school degree, GED or equivalent educational experience2+ years of prior relevant experience in a large resort settingFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays


WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:

Must have strong leadership skills and outgoing personalityPerception and awareness of individual needs and the ability to handle all situations calmly and professionallyProficiency of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machineExperience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining Agreement
