Assistant Manager In Training

As an Assistant Manager in Training, you’ll spend 100% of your time training and preparing for the role of Assistant Manager. This training is generally four-six months in length and covers all aspects of Best Buy management including company culture, customer focus, business process, financial analysis and reporting, and overall leadership skills. It’s your time to shine!
Once training is complete, you’ll have the opportunity to apply for an open Assistant Manager role where you’ll deliver a world-class customer experience while playing a vital role in implementing sales strategies, analyzing business results, and delivering on all aspects of the sales experience both inside and outside of the store. Assistant Store Managers are an essential part of the management team with total store responsibility for training and mentoring of associates, building an effective sales culture, and driving positive outcomes for the company.
What you’ll do:Drives profitability across all channels through analysis of sales trendsOwns and promotes brand standards in alignment with company visionMotivates and inspires the team to sell, grow, and do the best while having funIdentifies, develops, and retains internal talent; recruits and builds relationships with external talentConducts motivating store meetings, learns new skills at district/territory meetings and runs special projects/initiatives to enhance the customer experience and our bottom lineBasic Qualifications:Prior supervisory experience with at least two years in a customer facing sales setting -OR- two years of military leadership experienceOne year of experience with sales and/or servicesOne year of operations experiencePreferred Qualifications:Associate’s degree or higherExperience working with consumer electronicsAbility to relocateWhat’s in it for you
