This position is responsible for assisting in the management and administration of food and beverage operations at The Hotel Hershey and will be assigned to various outlets subject to need and demand.

Job Duties (Items marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this position):
Oversee and coordinate all outlet service training. Ensure staff are up to date on training requirements. Conduct regular reviews and updates of standards.*
Supervise outlet/ banquet wait staff, server assistants, buffet runners, host(esses), cashiers, and dining reservationists. Plan and assign daily goals, tasks, and assignments in order to meet business demand.*
Schedule staff and complete payroll information in adherence with labor budget.*
Complete inventories as needed or scheduled. Order and maintain par levels of product inventory.*
Monitor service standards to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards*
Maintain guest service and hospitality standards. Lead and direct staff to uphold high service and hospitality standards.*
Cross-train and support other f&b outlets as needed. · This position also participates in the evening Manager on Duty program.*
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Industry Experience - Food & Beverage
Industry Experience - Hospitality/Tourism
Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
18 years of age or older.
Post-Employment - RAMP Certification
Post-Employment - ServSafe Certification
Completion of high school or GED
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven employee/guest relations, leadership, motivation, communication, problem solving, and organization skills.
Working knowledge of hospitality financial systems and controls
Keyboarding skills and PC familiarity; knowledge of POS and Timesaver helpful.
Professional image representative of property image.
