We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Power BI
We're looking for a Power BI Specialist who has experience in Power BI and SQL. Responsible for managing all Power BI related client asks and support the team for the overall project goal.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for all following activities;
• Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
• Building Analysis Services reporting models
• Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports
• Build and design intuitive and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI for data driven decisions. .
• Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence
• Experience in publishing and sharing the dashboards, scheduling data refreshes.
• Handle complex visualization or data problems in Dashboards.
• Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards
• Regularly work on an ETL tool preferably SSIS is a plus.
• Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
• Able to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
• Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
• A technical bachelor's degree such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Technology, or similar technical degree preferred
• Significant experience building Dataware house and BI solutions in the Microsoft space
Preferred qualifications/Skills
• Power BI development including DAX- Data Analysis Expressions
• Data warehousing experience implementing ETL solutions is good to have
• Database design, database schema design, database programming, data analysis is good to have
• Relational database schema design is good to have
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Extreme attention to detail
• Work independently or with other team members as projects demand
• Ability to work in an international team and collaborate
• Prior experience in Banking and/or Insurance industry is a plus
• Experience crafting global BI solutions is a plus
