Assistant Manager - Public Relations - Park Hyatt Phu Quoc

Assist in developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the hotel’s marketing communications strategy, including advertising, promotions, public relations, graphics and collateral, so as to support the marketing objectives for the hotel and maximize the hotel’s positive exposure in local, national and international markets.

Assists in establishing annual marketing communications budgets, including above the line advertising, public relations, sales promotions and publicity that will form part of the hotel’s business plan.

Develops and maintains active contacts with the press and key media people, and evaluates all media solicitations and exposures.

Assists in monitoring all current attitudes and public statements concerning the hotel in foreign and local media.

Assists in ensuring all hotel advertising and collateral (local Food and Beverage, recruitment, etc.) are of consistent high standards, and that they comply with Hyatt International’s brand standards. To implement Hyatt International’s strategies and goals in electronic marketing

Enhances the performance of hotel website(s) as electronic marketing communication tools, distribution channels and methods of building loyalty and two-way customer communication

Be responsible for building and maintaining a permission-based email list by category and to implement electronic communications where appropriate.

Ensures all hotel websites are regularly updated and list most relevant information and rates/offers.

Prepares reports and analysis of hotel websites and to shar

Maintains records of all media and purchase agreements, contracts and quotes for the hotel.

Updates and checks departmental expenses against budgeted costs.

Minimum requirements

2 years of experience in the same position

Pre-opening experience is preferable

Luxury background in resort and urban city

Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English
