Roles and Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
· Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards
· Coordinate and conduct safety training programs for employees, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders
· Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures
· Review and update safety documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and safety manuals
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and implement best practices
· Stay updated on industry trends and changes in safety regulations, incorporating them into the organization's safety protocols
· Manage and maintain safety-related records and documentation
· Lead emergency response and crisis management activities, ensuring preparedness and effective response
· Participate in safety audits and inspections, addressing any non-compliance issues and recommending corrective actions
Education Qualification:
· Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
· 5-12 years of experience in the Power/Energy industry
