Category Management:

Assist the Senior Manager/Manager to manage and oversee the end-to-end sourcing and product development process.

Coordinate with vendors to negotiate costs, terms, and delivery schedules within the assigned category, focusing on achieving cost and margin targets.

Monitor category performance, including product quality and timely delivery, and address any issues that arise.

Collaborate with Industrial Design and Factory Production teams to ensure seamless category execution and alignment with overall brand strategy.

Development & Sourcing Support:

Assist the Senior Manager/Manager in implementing the global strategic sourcing plan across various categories, supporting tactical execution.

Collaborate with vendors to gather necessary information for product cost analysis, cost negotiation, and cost breakdown.

Work with vendors to facilitate sample development, ensuring adherence to product specifications and timelines.

Assist with the material selection and development process to ensure top quality end products that stay within costing targets.

Ensure products meet industry regulatory standards through understanding and application of those standards as they are implemented and/or evolve.

Cross-Functional Assistance:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure category-specific and overall divisional objectives are met.

Partner with BDM team to manage and drive adherence to Time and Action Calendar.

Assist the Senior Manager/Manager in ownership of communication, specifically addressing vendor-related challenges, ensuring vendor compliance, and escalating issues when necessary.

Support the Senior Manager/Manager in tracking and reporting vendor performance against established KPIs.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying process enhancement opportunities.

Perform ad-hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Merchandising

1-3 years of experience, including minimum 1 year merchandising experience in the related industry.
