Our client is one of the oldest manufacturers of greeting cards in the world. Their success has allowed them to expand into party goods, gifts, and stationery. They have become synonymous with quality and creativity, offering an extensive product range. They are looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to support planning, trading, and forecasting.

Your responsibilities will include:

Ownership of events and trade calendar ranges Delivering regular customer reporting requirements Reporting on store performance Ensuring all financial, external, and customer factors are evaluated to deliver accurate reporting Suggesting actions to maximize sales, profit, and store performance Delivering trading analysis for review Supporting the product team to ensure the optimum range is offered

You must be excellent in Excel with the ability to analyse data and identify commercial insights. We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role within a retail or supply chain background. A confident communicator who is able to build strong relationships is essential. You must be able to demonstrate commercial thinking to influence key stakeholders and ensure profit growth is at the centre of decision-making.
