Assistant Nurse Manager, Emergency Dept
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Evening Shift **Description:** **PM Shift: 12:00 noon - 10:00 p.m. (4-10 hour work shift)** The Assistant Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department at Loyola University Medical Center is a registered professional nurse, conversant with the nursing process, who has accountability when the nurse manager is not present during the assistant nurse manager's shift. The assistant nurse manager will support that nurse manger in developing long term planning, human and fiscal resources in a designated patient care area. Compliance will all regulatory groups to ensure safe, ethical and quality patient/family centered-care is required. The assistant nurse manager promotes MAGIS behavior with in the organization and patient care area; and supports various health system-sponsored programs. Recognizes, promotes and consistently applies knowledge of 14 Forces of Magnetism. What's required: + Associate's degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred. + 1-2 years of experience required; 3-5 years preferred. + 1-2 years of Charge Nurse experience preferred. + RN license in the State of Illinois. + Basic Life Support (CPR) + Specialty Certification in clinical or specialty area of nursing granted by a national nursing organization is preferred.
