All while understanding that together we are even better. **Schedule:** Full-time, Three (3) 12-hour shifts **Shift** : Days, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm (with weekend rotation) **Location** : AdventHealth Apopka, 2100 Ocoee Apopka Road, Apopka, FL 32703 **Unit Highlights:** + The Intensive Care Unit at AdventHealth Apopka is a 19-bed unit caring for a wide array of high-acuity cases + Diverse patient population with cases including renal failure, respiratory failure with ventilator management, septic shock with MODS, hypovolemic shock, DKA with severe acidosis, and more! + A strong, multi-disciplinary team of highly engaged nurses with dedicated preceptors who love to teach eager new nurses **The community you’ll be caring for:** + AdventHealth Apopka is a seven-story, 120-bed hospital offering an extensive range of services including expanded surgical services, advanced surgical suites and a catheterization lab. + The hospital also features a 30,000-square-foot emergency department with pediatric-friendly beds, imaging services, a full-service cafeteria, chapel, gift shop and on-site fire station. + The hospital opened in December 2017, replacing the 50-bed hospital that AdventHealth had operated in downtown Apopka for more than four **The role you’ll contribute:** The ANM is a registered professional nurse who supports the Nurse Manager or Director in overall operations of their assigned unit. Is able to demonstrate critical thinking skills, creativity, and has the knowledge to manage resources to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines. The ANM is skilled in coaching, mentoring, and leading a professional and technical team in the delivery of services to our patient population. The ANM assures quality of care is delivered to our patients and demonstrates effective stewardship of scarce resources. Is supportive of change activities on their unit and works to assure implementation of change that may occur.
