Assistant Nurse Manager - Endoscopy

The Assistant Nurse Manager organizes and directs the administration of a defined clinical Perioperative Department area with 24-hour responsibility and accountability.  Applies the management concepts of planning, organizing, directing and controlling to implement the clinical nursing program in defined areas.  Other responsibilities will be assigned as appropriate.  The Perioperative Department Assistant Nurse Manager reports to the Perioperative Department Nurse Manager. Employees are encouraged to support Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System’s involvement in the community we serve. Collaborates with department associates in developing and implementing the SRHS culture, vision, mission and goals.           

Education         

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Experience        

Two years nursing experience within a Perioperative Department field of nursing

License/Registration/Certifications

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (R.N) licensure permitting practice in South Carolina

Knowledgeable to provide clinical guidance, ensures the competency of associates through monitoring and current evaluation processes Implements department Quality Assurance Process Improvement programs (QAPI) Knowledgeable and skilled in basic management, leadership principles, current information technology, and interpersonal communications Knowledgeable to evaluate job performance of unit personnel and recommend adjustments in accordance with established policies and procedures.
