Assistant Nurse Manager - Infusion Services
Full Time (80 hours) - 8 hour shifts
Off shift rotation required

ChristianaCare is currently seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for our Infusion Services team. In this role, the Assistant Nurse Manager will assist the Nurse Manager in the clinical and administrative activities of the department in order to ensure patients the provision of quality care. The ANM will also assist the Nurse Manager to oversee the Infusion departments - which are located at both Newark and Wilmington campuses.
Responsibilities:
Supervises all nursing and technical personnel: Assesses competency of staff, oversees daily staffing and scheduling needs of department, evaluate staff performance, counsel/coach staff member as needed.Participates in hiring, promotion, and termination decisions.Functions as role model, demonstrating quality expertise and professional behaviors.Directs, mentors and supports all levels of staff.Develops, implements and monitors performance improvement and patient safety initiatives.Identifies and develops strategies to improve the overall knowledge base and professionalism of staff.Analyzes administrative and operational functions; implements appropriate changes and system wide improvements.Highlights:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.Master’s degree in Nursing required within 5 years.Appropriate clinical certification required.
