Requirements:

RN (Registered Nurse) LicenseBachelor's Degree in Nursing OR Higher2-years' RN Acute, Post-Acute, or Sub-Acute experience.BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart AssociationACLS certification with the American Heart AssociationStrongly preferred experience - 1 year of Nursing Leadership Strongly preferred experience - 2-year's RN in ICUPreferred certification - CCRN

 

The Assistant Nurse Manager and Patient Care Leader – ICU responsibilities and skills:

Proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skillsSupports the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues, ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring, counseling and terminating processProficient in the delivery of complex nursing care and continuously promotes quality care assuming a brad level of accountability for outcomesProvides 24 hour/7 day accountability care for assigned patientsPromotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence
