The Assistant Nursing Director of Perioperative Services is responsible for the oversight of the OR and Central Sterile departments at Northwest Medical Center.
Oversees the daily operations of the surgery department. Responsible for the procurement and maintenance of equipment and supplies, staffing and training of employees, and budgeting. May oversee pre- and post-operative care of patients. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and directs the work of others.
Education
Required: Bachelors degree in Nursing or Bachelors degree within 2 years of employment in the role.
Preferred: Masters degree ( i.e. MSN, MHA or MBA).
Experience
Required: Five (5) years of relevant professional experience, including three (1) year in leadership.
Licenses/Certifications
Required: Current Arizona RN license or compact state license and American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) BLS
Preferred: Nationally recognized certification in area of expertise.
