Assistant Operations Manager - Office

Job Summary:

 With minimal direction, the Assistant Operations Manager - Office reports to the Division’s Operations Manager, overseeing the Division’s administrative office functions.  The Assistant Operations Manager – Office role is an office-based role with direct supervision provided to the Service Coordinators.  

Other duties include assisting in the execution of the Inventory Management protocol established by the Division Manager.  The Assistant Operations Manager – Office also assists the Operation Manager in leading the Service Department to grow while following the company’s policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to, the following:

Assist the Operations Manager with oversight and management of the administrative functions of the Service DepartmentProvide direct supervision daily to (the) Service Coordinator(s).  Assign duties, evaluate performance, and train to achieve continuous improvement in work performed by the Service Coordinators.Assist in plan management and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments and ensure that the plan is executed correctlyReview workload and manpower to meet customer commitments in a cost-effective and efficient mannerEnsure all projects are completed timely, below budget, and to the customer’s satisfactionAssist the Assistant Operations Manager – Field in the execution of the Inventory Management protocol established by the Division ManagerAssist the Operations Manager in leading the service department’s growthAlways reinforce and enforce the company’s policies and procedures.Remain flexible and adjust to changing priorities promptly and effectively.Support and promote the company’s ADVANCE Training Program and the Division’s efforts and processes for training all service technicians.Perform all other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

Work is in an office environment.  This position is classified as essential and those employed are expected to report to work in all conditions unless otherwise directed.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills:

High School graduation or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is preferredPrior experience in the dock and door industry is preferredDemonstrated computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite software applications and the ability to learn other software quickly and efficientlyCustomer-focused and customer service-orientedDemonstrated leadership experience and capabilities
