Job DescriptionWe pride ourselves on investing in the future of our Oshkosh North facility to make employee’s lives easier and provide long term stable employment, and ensure we are positioned to meet or exceed the needs of our customers.
With our wide range of products produced at this site, such as convenience food packaging and lawn care packaging, we have increased product demand with our plans to expand and grow our workforce in our Converting, Press and Slitting departments. Oshkosh North has all four business processes allowing us to take our raw material/resin pellets, melt them down and create rolls of film which are printed on, cut/slit to meet customer specifications, and then we convert those rolls into bags and packages; completing the final product.
We are investing in our plant through: state of the art equipment, improving our production flow and efficiencies, increasing our workforce and providing focused training, and open and honest communication to create ONE engaged Oshkosh North Team.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
2-2-3 shift schedule 12 hours rotating biweekly from days to nights
COMPENSATION: $24.17/hour + $1.20/hour night shift premium available + 1.5x pay on Sundays!
These positions are on a rotating 2-2-3 12-hour shift schedule, where employees will have every other weekend off. Work just 3 or 4 days a week and shift schedules provided a whole calendar year in advance! Overtime available after training is complete.

Assist operators will aid in all aspects of operation of Tuber lines including change-overs, machine start-up, running and shut-down.Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with Safety. While also knowing and understanding the role in product safety.When qualified will operate Tubers when an operator is absent, or on vacation.Order and maintain resin boxes to sustain a proper steady supply of resin for Tuber machines Packaging mill rolls Weigh and haul scrap Miscellaneous housekeeping dutiesComply with all 5S and WCM initiatives (Cross Training, moving to the work)All other duties as assigned by supervisor or managementWHAT LAMINATION ASSISTANTS GET TO DO:
Obtains Job Jackets and reads job specifications to determine cores, adhesive, and other supplies needed by the operator for each product produced. Review production schedule to assure correct materials are available.Assists machine operator in setting up machine, start ups, shut downs, etc.Maintains material inventory to ensure sufficient materials are available.Label and return material to inventory.Learn to operate the machine and serve as backup operator when operator is away from machine or on vacation.Label boxes, cut cores when needed, band header pallets when necessary.Adheres to plant housekeeping standards, including specific department requirements: sweeps floor, recyclables, empties garbage, and keeps area clean. Maintains cleanliness of the glue deck area.All other duties as assigned by management and supervisorsWHAT PRESS ASSISTANTS GET TO DO:
Assist press operator by providing support during setup and operation of Flexographic PressCheck viscosity on each press deckColor matchingAssemble blade chambersAssure that all jobs are run in accordance to all written specifications including manufacturing specs, customer specs, print specs, color folders, and standard operating proceduresMake sure all materials including inks, stock, cylinders, gears, cores and aniloxes are ready for next jobAll other duties as assigned by supervisor or managementPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
