What You'll Do Lead in a professional manner toward achieving company performance goals with emphasis on safety, quality and all company standards Must be able to establish operational goals, both financial and non-financial, with clear work plans, and hold management staff accountable Must collaborate and develop strong relationships with people to ensure successful accomplishments of plant and regional goals Responsible for the planning of budgets, company assets, labor forecasts and capital expenditures for short-term and long-range production Supports company’s policies and procedures including AA/EEO goals Ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations, minimizing the company’s exposure to adverse outcomes of complaints, litigation, audits and inspections Provides guidance and direction to staff including hiring, disciplinary action, staff development, goal formulation and performance review Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned What You'll Need Past successful experience in operations, marketing, sales in a metal recycling facility or other related industry a strong plus Preferred familiarity with material handling equipment and how to properly maintain (maintenance programs) and repair equipment Ability to make sure all employees are trained and well prepared to carry out their daily tasks to ensure everyone's safety Must be able to maintain and be familiar with safety and environmental concerns Your Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field required
