Assistant Plant Manager

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** + Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient production and compliance with safety protocols. + Develop and manage the annual operating budget and mine plan. + Lead and develop plant staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. + Manage maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and cost efficiency. + Collaborate with various departments to achieve key business objectives and represent the company in the local community. **What Are We Looking For** + Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with at least 5 years of industry experience. + Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a proven track record in safety and regulatory compliance. + Analytical and metrics-driven mindset, with project management experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office. + Commitment to team success, with the ability to work through challenges and achieve objectives. + Passion for career growth, with an interest in becoming a Plant Manager. **Work Environment** + Fast-paced and dynamic work environment. + Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and industrial settings. + Collaborative team atmosphere with a focus on safety and efficiency. **Physical Demands** + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. + Frequent standing, walking, and climbing. + Exposure to loud noise, dust, and varying temperatures. + Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. **What We Offer** + Competitive base salary $84,730-$110,146 and participation in our annual incentive plan. + 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions. + Highly competitive benefits programs, including: + Medical, Dental, and Vision along with Prescription Drug Benefits. + Health Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), and Flexible Spending Account (FSA). + AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability Coverage as well as Basic Life Insurance. + Paid Bonding Leave, 15 days of Paid Vacation, 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave, and 10 Paid Holidays.
